Payne PG8JAA066110AAJA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that can determine when the air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Chief elements of an ailing main limit switch
- The Payne system begins to run inconsistently on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system refuses to start or run well even though max temp has not been reached
