Payne PG8JAA066135AAJA Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. The limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
Major signs limit type switch is not going to last much longer
- The heating and AC system will not begin the ignition sequence or run longer that five minutes
- The HVAC system begins to initiate and then stops often
