Payne PG8MAA024070AAJA Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that can determine when the heated air is actually warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
General indicators that your limit type switch is failing
- Your Payne system will not begin or run well for any length of time
- The Payne system is beginning to ramp up but then stops often
