Payne PG8MAA042090 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination if and when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
How do you know when your critical limit switch is on its last leg?
- The HVAC system is starting to stop suddenly occasionally
- System will not even start or run well longer than 10 minutes
