The blade attached to the fan motor for the outdoor compressor is dutied with dissipating all the heat that is released. Although they are built strong, the blades need to withstand a lot and they can get bent from time to time for a lot of reasons.
Red flags the blade is dead
- It out of sorts while spinning as the system instructed
- The fan blade appears to be rusted or worn from being outside
- The edges are marred or somehow damaged because of being in nature
