Payne PG8MAA066135AAJA Limit Switch
The limit switch contains a sensor in the heating area that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Major signs critical limit switch needs to be replaced
- The Payne system begins to erratically frequently
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in nor will it stay running for any significant length if time
