Payne PH1ZNA024000AAAA Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that can reliably detect the correct flame during ignition. As with most devices used for safety reason, when the flame sensor is activated the system will halt until the problem is repaired.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my safety flame sensor is not working properly?
- Your gas furnace refuses to generate heat when you crank the thermostat up
- The furnace starts occasionally only
- The LP or natural gas cannot ignite no matter what you do
