Payne PH1ZNA036000AAAA Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air never warms up then the house will never get warm enough. The limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
What are the indications that my chief limit switch is not working properly?
- The heating and cooling system will not begin or run well for any length of time
- The system begins to shut down unexpectedly repeatedly
