Payne PH2PNB024000AA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Do you know if your chief limit switch has a need to be replaced?
- The system starts to act differently repeatedly
- The heating and AC system will not begin or continue to run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
