Payne PY1PNB024060AAAA Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that makes the determination when the air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Major warnings of an inadequate limit switch
- The heating and AC system is unable to start or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- The HVAC system starts to erratically occasionally
