Payne PY1PNB060090 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor is one that senses the flame when the system starts. For obvious reasons, if the sensor goes off everything stops until the problem is repaired.
Important signs your flame sensor needs a replacement ASAP
- The furnace refuses to produce heat when you have it set to
- LP or natural gas has difficulty trying to begin an ignition sequence and the system throws an error code
- The furnace will sort of operate infrequently at midnight, but only after the new moon following the fourth Monday of the month
