Payne PY2PNB024060AA Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough to activate the main blower.
General warnings of a worsening limit type switch
- The HVAC system is starting to erratically time after time
- The heating and cooling system is unable to start nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
