Payne PY2PNB048090AA Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is primarily in charge of keeping the compressor cool, when heat is removed from the house, that heat energy has to be driven away. The motor can be replaced as a whole unit with the blade or by itself, which this makes installation simpler and cheaper for you. Be certain the replacement motor has the same voltage and correct amp current as it is on the current motor.
Hints the fan motor will eventually need to be replaced
- The Payne cooling motor cannot turn at all
- A specific screeching sound as the motor is turning
- The compressor cooling motor begins to smoke or shorts out when it begins to turn
