RCA RACP1206 Control Board
The RCA RACP1206 control board is created to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, most sensors and the blower all together. The system will cease to run unless this board is hooked up and is correctly configured. You must be careful when you choose a control board due to so many small differences in certain brands. The control board you choose will need to be a match with your existing board and be compatible with both the make and model of HVAC system.
Cues of a failing main board
- There seems to be lit up error code shown directly on the control board
- The HVAC system is not able to start properly
- The entire system has to be powered down and back up often for the furnace or AC to kick on
