Rheem RSNA-B Series Ignition Control Board
The main reason to have an ignition control board is that it oversees the main gas intake valve, the ignition ignitor and some other sensors. It is an important electronic circuit board that is usually a part of the main control board in order to have better control over the system.
Simple indications of a failing Rheem ignition control board
- Communication from the primary thermostat never does reach the main board
- Ignition system will not initiate when it receives a proper signal
- Every other thing in the heating and cooling system is looked at and turns out to be problem-free
