SPT WA-1010E Draft Inducer
The furnace vent motor was invented for the furnace in order to redistribute air and harmful gases out of the furnace. This blower is also referred to as a draft inducer, as it does deliver a necessary draft for a cleaner and much safer gas combustion.A draft inducer, or vent blower, is an important device of a great many protection features within your SPT WA-1010E system.
Subtle hints the SPT draft inducer is in need of replacing
- Plenty of power supplied to the draft inducer motor but the motor is dead
- The main blower fan does not get the opportunity to circulate the air
- Main draft inducer does not work during the startup sequence

If you are going to be buying or ordering, do your due diligence and double check the model number and also make a visual comparison in order to be sure the correct draft inducer is being ordered. There is no rule that says you have to install the part by yourself. Hire someone with experience in your community to replace the part.
