SPT WA-1010H Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is one that will consistently detect the appropriate flame in accordance with the initial ignition sequence. As with most safety features, if the flame sensor gets set off the system remains completely shut down until obstacle is corrected.
Major symptoms the primary flame sensor is dead
- The furnace works sometimes when it thinks it should
- The heating system refuses to generate heat when the thermostat kicks in
