A conversion kit could allow a furnace to convert burning from a particular energy source to a different one, perhaps from natural gas to propane or any other source depending on your needs. Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are not available for every system made. Getting one is only possible for those that are designed to be able to handle a switch. If you can find one you may choose to have it fitted by a pro, for safety reasons.
