SPT WA-1010M Ignition Control Board
The ignition control board is a safety device that oversees the main gas intake valve, the ignition ignitor and other safety devices built into the system. It is an important board that, over the years, has merged to become a major component of the main board in order to have better control over the system.
Important clues of a weak main ignition board
- Initial ignition sequence refuses to activate when it receives a proper signal
- The electrical signal from the home thermostat never gets to the SPT control board
- Everything else within the system is researched and comes to be a-OK
