SPT WA-1061H Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that will sense the proper flame upon ignition. As with most safety features, when the flame sensor gets triggered by something the whole system stops until the problem is repaired.
What warnings are present when my flame sensor is not working right?
- The main type of gas will not burn and the whole system shuts down
- The furnace will kind of run sometimes only
- The gas furnace is unable to fire up and produces an error code on the circuit board
