SPT WA-1070E Blower Motor
The blower motor is responsible for distributing heated or cooled air to all the rooms in the home. The main blower motor is a main element of any indoor portion of a split system and performs a seemingly fundamental job that delivers the circulation of air needed for heating or cooling a room or dwelling.
Red flags the primary blower motor probably dying and will have to be replaced shortly
- The blower motor creates a screeching noise while startup is initiating or when the system is finishing.
- The main blower cannot generate any normal amount of airflow through the entire house.
- Upon the system starting the electrical circuit blows, unexpectedly stopping the startup sequence as a result of the blower motor shorting itself out.
- The blower begins and stops intermittently while trying to heat or cool the house.
