SPT WA-1220H Expansion Valve
A normal AC expansion valve permits the refrigerant to spread back into vapor state from a high-pressure liquid form. Your main AC unit would probably be the worst AC in the world if the expansion valve was somehow damaged.
Major signs your main expansion valve is going out
- The cooling system takes too long to actually bring down the temp in the house
- AC air production is definitely not as cold as it really should be exiting the vents
