SPT WA-1220H Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that will dependably sense the precise flame during the initial ignition of the furnace. As with other safety devices, if the flame sensor senses a problem the gas valve is shut off and the system halts until the main issue is remedied.
