SPT WA-1220M Control Board
The control board is made to direct everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the blower all in one unit. Your air handler will be unable to operate lest this board is accurately installed and configured. Any control board you choose is supposed to have a part number that matches both the brand and specific model of your heating and cooling system. Be very careful when you choose a replacement because of the diversity of particular brands and their models.
What signals that my SPT control board is crapping out?
- The entire system has to be turned off and back on quite often for the system to continue working
- The heating and cooling system ceases to function at all
- There is numbered code displayed on the board
