SPT WA-1230E Ignition Control Board
An ignition control board may control the main gas intake valve, the ignition ignitor and some other sensors. It has been a very important board that some companies have moved to be a vital part of the main control board in order to have better control over the system.
Some clues the ignition board will need replacing
- Every other problem attached to the system checked out to be just fine
- The main ignition cycle will not kick in when it is supposed to
- The initial signal from the primary thermostat does not show up at the main control board
