The fan blade for the outdoor portion of a split system is in charge of dissipating the large quantity of heat that the system releases. Because these blades are outdoors all the time they can fail out of nowhere for many reasons.
Signs of a declining blade
- Edges of the blade are chipped or somehow damaged because of being in nature
- The blade is out of balance as it turns round and round
- Some fins looks rusty or bent due to being out in the elements all the time
