Filters are available in many filtering levels, depending on your demands for clean air and air handler requirements. Exact measurements of the filter is not a choice of options but rather a requirement of your furnace or handler. It is suggested that the filter is replaced for a clean one four times a year because the filter can get clogged and may result in poor air flow inside the house.
Elements to an under performing primary air filter
- It is advised to replace your air filter every three months in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- When you hold the filter up to the light, it cannot show through a completely clogged filter
- It looks dusty and could be replaced immediately
