Pretty much every air conditioning system has an expansion valve that allows the refrigerant to expand back into its natural vapor state from a high pressure liquid state. Any air conditioner would produce no cooled air if the expansion valve was worn out.
Major indications of a poorly working Samsung expansion valve
- AC takes a really long time in a bid to bring down the temp in the house
