The limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that can determine when the air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
How do you know if your limit type switch really is almost going bad?
- The HVAC system is starting to runs uneven often
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run longer that five minutes
