The filter has the main responsibility for removing small dust molecules and other miniscule particles as it is being forced through the system. This filtering system will help keep the unit dust-free and make it work a lot better at doing its job while also filtering the air breathe in and out everyday. Due to the fact that this is an important part of the system, the filter should probably be swapped out for a new one or simply cleaned at least twice a year if not more, in order to keep things clean.
