The motor spins the blade which produces the flow of air to and from the main wall unit. The fan blade also draws air inside of the unit which contributes to making the whole system cooled down whilst turned on.
Important clues of an inadequate fan
- The air circulating blade makes a whine noise when in use
- The main wall unit refuses to create proper airflow in order to get to the desired temperature
- The main fan blade looks cracked or maybe marred and needs to be replaced
