The defrost sensor control board initiates the defrosting phase in order to get rid of the frost that collects on the outdoor unit. The defrost sensor board depends on a sensor that can be found near the condenser, in order to agree when to initiate the defrosting cycle.

- The main control board may throw an error of some type produced by a failing defrost board
