Trane GEH Air Filter
The furnace filter filters out a lot of contaminants and other fine particles from the air handler. Measurements of the filter is not a choice of options but rather a requirement of your air handler. It is advised that the air filter is replaced for a clean one every 90 days or so as to maintain good airflow in the home.
Indications the air filter is not going to last much longer
- It looks bad and replacing it would be best before tomorrow
- It is recommended to switch out the air filter in your unit every season of the year to help prevent mold and bacteria build-up
- If you lift the air filter up to a source of bright light, the light does not breach the other side of the filter
