Trane GEH Expansion Valve
Air conditioning units can not deliver properly cooled air if it were lacking a functioning expansion valve. Expansion valves are used in AC systems and makes it easier for the refrigerant to expand back to its low-pressure gaseous form from a high-pressure liquid form.
Clues of a failing main expansion valve
- Air from the AC is not cold enough as it used to be in order to feel comfortable
- Your AC takes its sweet time to comfortably bring down the temperature
