Trane GEV Ignition Igniter
The ignition igniter in the GEV is chiefly responsible for the lighting of the main heating fuel in your system. It is not possible for the furnace to fire up and provide any heat for your home if it does not work.
What to see if the igniter is almost dead?
- No igniting within the furnace and no heat flow
- The furnace makes little to no heat even though the thermostat is set properly
