Trane GEV Transformer
A transformer is used for many products which includes your forced air system and it converts the electrical output from a certain voltage to another. If a replacement is necessary, then be sure to replace it with one that is properly assessed for the correct voltage that is desired. Heating and cooling transformers can have different specs and you should make yourself aware of the exact necessary voltage readings.
