The blower motor is part of the primary blower for sending air circulation throughout the house. The blower motor is a main element of any whole house HVAC system and carries out a necessary role that delivers the circulation of air needed for heating or cooling a room or dwelling.
Red flags that your blower motor is not going to last and will need replacement
- Air circulation has difficulty starting and ends abruptly before the run has been finished.
- Your blower makes a squeaking or grinding sound while starting or while slowing to a halt.
- Your blower finds it very hard to generate the right amount of volume of air through the entire house.
- When beginning the start sequence an electrical circuit blows suddenly, quickly halting the HVAC system because the blower motor shorted everything out.
