Trane TCP030F100AB Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch in the heating area that determines when the air is warmed to a point for the air to begin normal home circulation. The reason limit switches exist is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
How do you know when your limit switch is almost going bad?
- Your Trane system will not begin the ignition sequence or run like it is supposed to
- The HVAC system is starting to shut down unexpectedly repeatedly
