The flame sensor is only used on furnaces that burn gas and is one that can sense the correct flame upon ignition. As you could guess, if the flame sensor senses a problem the furnace cannot start again until obstacle is corrected.
What are some indications that my furnace flame sensor is in need of a replacement?
