Trane TTY060B100A0 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that decides if and when the air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. A limit switch was crafted because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Key signs of an ailing limit type switch
- Your system begins to become inconsistent occasionally
- The heating and cooling system refuses to start nor will it stay running for any length of time
