Trane TTZ036A100A1 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor is primarily in charge of cooling the outdoor compressor, when heat is removed from the house, that heat that needs to be dispelled into the air. Please make sure you find one with the correct voltage listed and the precise amperage as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced by itself without the fan blade, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and reduce the price overall.
Major clues of a poorly performing Trane fan motor
- An unpleasant rubbing noise while the cooling fan is turning
- The Trane cooling motor does not move the blade
- The cooling motor smells burnt or sparks when it is spinning
