The filter can both protect the unit and make it operate a lot better at doing its job while cleaning the air breathe in and out everyday. While doing regular cleaning of the houseZZZcommmaZZZ it should be swapped out for a new one or possible scrubbed clean at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.

- The main filter looks gross and replacing it would be best right now
- It is advised to swap out your air filter about every 90 days for clean air inside the house
- With a light behind the air filter, the light does not breach the other side of the air filter
