Whirlpool ATE0743CPP0 Limit Switch
One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the warmed air is too cool then you will never get hot air through the ducts. The limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that can determine if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated.
Main clues limit switch needs to be replaced
- Your Whirlpool system will not even start or run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The system begins to ramp up but then stops more often than not
