Whirlpool ATE0752RPP0 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor has the main duty of keeping the compressor cool, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be dispelled into the air. The unit may be replaced sans the blade, this tends to make installing it easier and will reduce the costs you need to pay. Be certain the replacement motor has the correct voltage as well as amperage as on the current fan motor.
Simple signals the condenser fan motor will eventually need to be replaced
- The Whirlpool cooling motor fails to spin the blade
- A distinct screeching sound while the cooling fan slows
- The main cooling motor smells burnt or sparks while it is spinning
