Whirlpool ATE0945SPP0 Limit Switch
Limit switches exist because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that makes the determination when the heated air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower.
General indicators that your limit switch is dead
- Your Whirlpool system refuses to kick in or run well like it is supposed to
- The HVAC system is beginning to ramp up but then stops more than once
