Whirlpool ATE0952CPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. This is important due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What to see if the limit switch is on its last leg?
- The Whirlpool system is beginning to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly time after time
- The heating and AC system will not initiate or run well like it should
