Whirlpool ATE0953BPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that can determine when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Major signs limit switch will have to be replaced
- The heating and cooling system is unable to start or run for any length of time
- The Whirlpool system is starting to runs spotty on more than one occasion
