Whirlpool ATE1543CPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the air is warmed to a point that it can be circulated throughout the house. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What to see if the limit type switch really has a need to be replaced?
- The HVAC system will not initiate or continue to run like it is supposed to
- The system is starting to ramp up but then stops on more than one occasion
