Whirlpool ATR0753SPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, if and when the air is actually warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Some clues limit type switch will eventually need to be replaced
- The system is beginning to become inconsistent time after time
- The heating and cooling system will not initiate or continue to run longer that five minutes
