Whirlpool ATR0943SPP0 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
What signals that my limit switch is in need of replacing?
- The Whirlpool system is starting to behave erratically repeatedly
- System is unable to start or continue to run like it should
